Goodbye Heath Ledger - You Will Be Missed - reprint

Heath Ledger was a handsome, young talented actor who made life a little better with his less-than-serious roles and smile and exhuded warmth on-screen in movies such as "10 Things I Hate About You", "The Brothers Grimm", and my personal favorite, "A Knights Tale". His death is swarmed with controversy since there were a variety of pills found around him in his state of death, and a level of stress was attributed to his latest movie, "The Dark Knight Returns", in which he plays the Joker, made infamous by Jack Nicholson.

His level of depth and drama in movies such as "Brokeback Mountain" and "The Patriot" made him an actor to have watched for the last few years. Critics said his best work was yet to come. One thing I liked about his was in wonderful smile and the little crown of his scalp, that was a tell-tale sign of a receding hairline - it made him human. That would be the guy to have coffee with or to talk about art, places in New York to visit, or something very normal. And sometimes that's a nice thing too.

Heath was 28 years old. His death and the loss of his talent will be greatly missed like some of the amazing talents too young but too tragic. Stars such as Bruce Lee, River Phoenix, Brandon Lee, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez, James Dean, Tupac Shakur, and the list, sadly, continues.

Maybe I am blessed that I am not famous so much an infamous, and still living and missing his smile just a bit. Rest in peace, Heath, and may angels speed you onto heaven.
