I Wanna Be A Cowboy - I Mean Ron Jeremy - reprinted

(And if you're wondering that's a photo-Polaroid of Marilyn Chambers at the Dove theater in the midwest during her cross-country touring of the movie "Insatiable" which I just got on DVD from a friend of mine as a gift.)
And yes, I visted them even under-age.
I was sooooo bad.
In fact, I also knew that next to the best sandwich shop on Broadway (It had no a/c & the owner smoked over the counter), but there was a porno theater which mainly consisted of a girl (or old man) at a booth taking $5 for a folding seat and passage through a small door with a diamond piece of glass and a large scary-looking man waiting on a stool with his arms crossed. Very scary ...
Why am I telling these stories now?
Because as I grow older I have to allow the hedonism to drip out of me like a slow-bleeding wound and watch live in this town (and many across America) become more generic and flaccid. I mean fucking dull. I doubt that Houston has any more edge of excitement than Iowa does, and I was just there a few years ago. Maybe, to bide my wickedness I need to slip & slide in the pages of swingers magazines & follow the temptations around the country seeing what mischief I can make before my time ends.
Am I that afraid of time at the age of 40? is 40 really the new 30, as the worlds' media hypes for the relevancy of the cougars chasing down young stupid actors while plastically-holding out their surgically enhanced figures in their late 20's? I wish I could go back in time with the knowledge I have now. I'd warn my past-self that his indecisiveness and fear-factors are nothing in life. He should not have feared honesty, or rejection, or stayed cocooned in despair and sadness, crying into his pillows or angrily drinking himself into a few accident and fights and escapes. He just needs to LIVE!
And now I am trying to do this ... now moreso than ever.
Hopefully I'll slip away from my own conceit and make a smile of my life ... a dream come true.
Hopefully you will to my friends & angels.
Always,
~jules~
Hopefully this video will make you smile, giggle and run your heart a little faster.

"Cowboy"
Cowboy...Cowboy
Well I'm packing up my game and I'm a head out west
Where real women come equipped with scripts and fake breasts
Find a nest in the hills chill like Flynt
Buy an old drop top find a spot to pimp
And I'm a Kid Rock it up and down your block
With a bottle of scotch and watch lots of crotch
Buy a yacht with a flag sayin' chilling the most
Then rock that bitch up and down the coast
Give a toast to the sun, drink with the stars
Get thrown in the mix and tossed out of bars
Then to Tijuana... I wanna roam
Find Motown and tell them fools to come back home
Start an escort service, for all the right reasons
And set up shop at the top of four seasons
Kid Rock and I'm the real McCoy
And I'm headin' out west sucker...because I wanna be a
Cowboy baby
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy baby
West coast chilling with the Boone's Wine
I wanna be a Cowboy baby
Riding at night cause I sleep all day
Cowboy baby
I can smell a pig from a mile away
I bet you'll hear my whistle blowing when my train rolls in
It goes (whistle) like dust in the wind
Stoned pimp, stoned freak, stoned out of my mind
I once was lost, but now I'm just blind
Palm trees and weeds, scabbed knees and rice
Get a map to the stars, find Heidi Fleiss
And if the price is right I'm gonna make my bid boy
And let Cali-for-ny-aye know why they call me
Cowboy baby
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy baby
West coast chilling with the Boone's Wine
I wanna be a Cowboy baby
Riding at night cause I sleep all day
Cowboy baby
I can smell a pig from a mile away
Yeah...Kid Rock...you can call me Tex
Rollin sunset woman with a bottle of Becks
Seen a slimy in a vette, rolled down my glass
And said, Yeah this dick fits right in your ass
No kidding, gun slinging, spurs hitting the floor
Call me Hoss, I'm the Boss, with the sauce in the horse
No remorse for the sheriff, in his eye I ain't right
I'm gonna paint his town red, and paint his wife white HUH
Cause chaos, rock like Amadeus
Find West Coast pussy for my Detroit players
Mack like mayors, ball like Lakers
They told us to leave, but bet they can't make us
Why they wanna pick on me...lock me up and snort away my key
I ain't no G, I'm just a regular failure
I ain't straight outta Compton I'm straight out the trailer
Cuss like a sailor...drink like a Mick
My only words of wisdom are just, Radio Edit
I'm flicking my Bic up and down that coast and
Keep on trucking until it falls in the ocean
Cowboy
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy
Spend all my time at Hollywood and Vine
Cowboy
Riding at night cause I sleep all day
Cowboy
I can smell a pig from a mile away
Cowboy
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy
With the top let back and the sunshine shining

Why Isn't Life Like the Movies? - Reprint

(Begun December 12, 2007 - ended today)
It's drizzling, cold and grey here in San Antonio, and a warm comforter, goose-down or soft, willing flesh would make my day better. "You Only Live Twice" is on my DVD player, as I came in late when it was on satellite, and nothing else good was on, so here we are, watching & playing it. Bond has just taken a new (pretend) wife after his lover was killed - Poisoned!- by an assassin. My favorite part is the climax, where Bond & a group of grey-clad commandoes slide down a volcano tunnel to fight the bad guys bringing the world onto the brink of war. (God, the Cold War seems like such a distant memory now. Russia has been found in debt, incompetent and losing control of the people they once ruled with an Iron Fist. Villainy is not as clear-cut as before, the stop and need for a resolution is gone, and everyone fights to be #1, not working with others. Cooperation and companionship
is an ancient desire ruled by old men such as myself and my old dreams.
I'm through with standing in line
To clubs we'll never get in
It's like the bottom of the ninth
And I'm never gonna win
This life hasn't turned out
Quite the way I want it to be
WHY be good?! Why not hide my conscience? After all, isn't being good just a shallow way for the whining to cloud my better choices? I mean, turning the other cheek, does that make my life richer? Does it bring me out of hock? Pay my credit card bills? Make my Blondie find small gifts at her crate, and my friends find presents in their pockets and on their dashboards and at their schools and homes? We all deserve fresh flowers, to breathe calm air and to giggle often and not wonder where our money will come from day by day.
I present the following fallicies of fiction:
prize-money! "Why isn't there a cyber-sex for-money website for women longing for men?"
I think that's why I'll go in the following direction and see the pessimistic (and sometimes redemptive) but more realistic idea(s) instead in movies:
* A Clockwork Orange - in the end noone really changes, no matter the reformation.
* Caligula - in the end you WILL die no matter how you lived.
* The Devil in Miss Jones - in the end nooone is REALLY satisfied.
* The Wild Bunch - in the end you might take your friends with you if you fuck up that badly.
I do:
- Gambling, whether cards, horses or even Lotto. Always a get-rich scheme.
- Sex, as I am hedonistically inclined, and WILL cheat, no matter how amazing she (or he) is with me.
- Violence, as I don't go looking for trouble but id DOES find me.

Goodbye Heath Ledger - You Will Be Missed - reprint

His level of depth and drama in movies such as "Brokeback Mountain" and "The Patriot" made him an actor to have watched for the last few years. Critics said his best work was yet to come. One thing I liked about his was in wonderful smile and the little crown of his scalp, that was a tell-tale sign of a receding hairline - it made him human. That would be the guy to have coffee with or to talk about art, places in New York to visit, or something very normal. And sometimes that's a nice thing too.
Heath was 28 years old. His death and the loss of his talent will be greatly missed like some of the amazing talents too young but too tragic. Stars such as Bruce Lee, River Phoenix, Brandon Lee, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez, James Dean, Tupac Shakur, and the list, sadly, continues.

Alicia Keys - Like You'll Never See Me Again Like You'll Never See Me Again (Lyrics)
Like You'll Never See Me Again Lyrics
Artist(Band):Alicia Keys
No more time left to be here
Would you cherish what we had?
Was it everything that you were looking for?
If I couldn't feel your touch
And no longer were you with me
I'd be wishing you were here
To be everything that I'd be looking for
I don't wanna forget the present is a gift
And I don't wanna take for granted the time you may have here with me
'Cause Lord only knows another day is not really guaranteed
So every time you hold me
Hold me like this is the last time
Every time you kiss me
Kiss me like you'll never see me again
Every time you touch me
Touch me like this is the last time
Promise that you'll love me
Love me like you'll never see me again
Oh Oh Ohhhhh
How many really know what love is?
Millions never will
Do you know until you lose it
That it's everything that we are looking for
When I wake up in the morning
You're beside me
I'm so thankful that I found
Everything that I been looking for
I don't wanna forget the present is a gift
And I don't wanna take for granted the time you may have here with me
'Cause Lord only knows another day is not really guaranteed
So everytime you hold me
Hold me like this is the last time
Every time you kiss me
Kiss me like you'll never see me again
(can you do that for me baby)
Every time you touch me
(see we don't really know)
Touch me like this is the last time
(see everyday we never know)
Promise that you'll love me
(I want you to promise me)
Love me like you'll never see me again
(like you'll never see me again)
Ohhh ohhh ohhh ohhh ohhh

COUNTDOWN to Graduation - reprint

I never thought I'd come so close to finally graduating from college with a degree but it's gonna happen next fall. And with it I've been told I may need to leave my old life behind & send this part of me deeper beyond the reach of unsuspecting ones or just to become someone new.
If sudden fame or infamy comes with a 7-digit figure on a check, well, maybe my adventures can become more lurid & obscene.
If not at least you knew ahead of time.

Spring Break SUCKED!! - reprint

I know what I feel, and what I feel about myself is anger & self-loathing, and I recall the taste of a rifle barrel on my tongue & the sadness of death constantly lurking around me. For that reason I hate myself – I try & I fail time & time again. I see it honestly: I’ve never wanted to teach, just to write. I spent my weekend at a small lakeside house in the Hill Country at the invitation of teacher friends and I felt lonely and gross. Smiling was easy enough for me, as was having a few drinks, making a breakfast feast, washing dishes & taking my beloved dog for a few long walks.
I see the clothing I wear coming out of the Big & Tall (nee – fat & wide) section of clothing stores. My fantasy of myself is being where I was at 25 – smaller, lithe, fast, able to sprint, jump, grasp & fuck like a demon. I know that was over 15 years ago & several wives & a few crushed dreams ago, but that is my hope. If I have children & a family sometime soon I may not live long enough to enjoy them or to be able to see their fruition.
Maybe this will be my last chance – to publish, to dream, to build, to hope. Many friends support & love me for what & who I am, but I can’t give them all I feel inside myself. And I want to give them my warmth, my skin … my body. I don’t like the Fat Albert body I possess currently, and I dislike my lack of confidence and the overwhelming fear coursing through my nerves & veins.
TLC’s website has a program called “I Can Make You Thin with Paul McKenna”, a hypnotist from the UK, and I am gonna try his program to see if this helps me lose weight and to manage it & to feel confident again. Skull-crunching is not allowed, nor are Battle Royale type programs for education even though that’s the only way systems of learning can be conducted with children learning that there IS a value to what they’re given by their teachers. That way they don’t fuck with teachers trying to do some amazing work, but unable to because the brats are assholes with an agenda: fuck up the class.
Maybe I’m in the wrong profession, but until I can get out of it comfortably to keep writing & staying on-line with my friends & not bothering with the world around me. Granted a life like a hermit is rarely sought, and somehow my reclusive idyllic peace will be wrecked by some shitbag of a dickhead, but I have to try. I can’t go through life with my dreams in a sack, waiting for something to happen.
Am I an emotional eater? Or just a pussy? Am I being angry with the life I’ve lead, or the life I should have lead? Have all my chances slipped away or do I need to find a new path to my dreams?
Harry got up
Dressed all in black
Went down to the station
And he never came back
They found his clothing
Scattered somewhere down the track
And he won't be down on Wall Street
in the morning
He had a home
The love of a girl
But men get lost sometimes
As years unfurl
One day he crossed some line
And he was too much in this world
But I guess it doesn't matter anymore
In a New York minute
Everything can change
In a New York minute
Things can get pretty strange
In a New York minute
Everything can change
In a New York minute
Lying here in the darkness
I hear the sirens wail
Somebody going to emergency
Somebody's going to jail
If you find somebody to love in this world
You better hang on tooth and nail
The wolf is always at the door
In a New York minute
Everything can change
In a New York minute
Things can get a little strange
In a New York minute
Everything can change
In a New York minute
And in these days
When darkness falls early
And people rush home
To the ones they love
You better take a fool's advice
And take care of your own
One day they're here;
Next day they're gone
I pulled my coat around my shoulders
And took a walk down through the park
The leaves were falling around me
The groaning city in the gathering dark
On some solitary rock
A desperate lover left his mark,
"Baby, I've changed. Please come back."
What the head makes cloudy
The heart makes very clear
The days were so much brighter
In the time when she was here
But I know there's somebody somewhere
Make these dark clouds disappear
Until that day, I have to believe
I believe, I believe
In a New York minute
Everything can change
In a New York minute
You can get out of the rain
In a New York minute
Everything can change
In a New York minute
Lyrics – New York Minute – Don Henley
Okay, enough bitching for tonight.

Oh, can't anybody see,
We've got a war to fight,
Never found our way,
Regardless of what they say.
How can it feel, this wrong,
From this moment,
How can it feel, this wrong.
Storm,
In the morning light,
I feel,
No more can I say,
Frozen to myself.
I got nobody on my side,
And surely that ain't right,
Surely that ain't right.
Oh, can't anybody see,
We've got a war to fight,
Never found our way,
Regardless of what they say.
How can it feel, this wrong,
From this moment,
How can it feel, this wrong.
How can it feel this wrong,
From this moment,
How can it feel, this wrong.
Oh, can't anybody see,
We've got a war to fight,
Never found our way,
Regardless of what they say.
How can it feel, this wrong,
From this moment,
How can it feel, this wrong.
"There's always something about music that sets the soul on fire, the mind ablaze with delight and the soul comes alive with needs that can't be fulfilled with booze, deravity, and violence. I am and always have been a fan of music and delight the sounds make resonating in my heart and in my mind. There's mental barbed-wire around my heart and conscience so music is a small dove, a ray of hope that makes me believe I too, can be good. And sometimes ... even great."

NOT An April Fool's Joke - TEACHERS ARE DAMNED! - reprint

Cautionary tales from the 'what-were-you-thinking' department.
Way back in 1974, California teacher and aspiring actor Lou Zivkovich famously was fired for posing nude in Playgirl magazine. His response, as reported by Newsweek, "I didn't murder anyone."
Nowadays, thanks to advances in technology, you don't even need a major publisher to get fired; just post your racy photos, sexually graphic writings, or wild party stories on a personal Web blog. You'll be amazed by how quickly tech-savvy students can disseminate your postings to their friends and your employer.
Here's a roundup of just some of the horror stories from last year:
In Virginia, high school art teacher Stephen Murmer was fired after posting photos of his "butt art" on the Web, which were viewed by scores of students. The budding artist applied paint to his posterior and genitalia, which he then pressed onto canvases. With the help of the ACLU, he sued the school district last fall claiming a violation of his First Amendment rights.
Band director Scott Davis from Broward County, Florida, was dismissed after school officials viewed his MySpace profile that included his musings about sex, drugs, and depression.
A Colorado English teacher lost her job after composing and posting sexually explicit poetry on her MySpace site. Police were even called in to investigate.
Nashville teacher Margaret Thompson was removed from teaching after posting "racy pictures" of herself, along with candid photos of her students, on her MySpace profile.
Florida middle school teacher John Bush was terminated because of "offensive" and "unacceptable " photos and information on his MySpace page.
Massachusetts teacher Keath Driscoll was suspended for his MySpace postings including "sexually suggestive" photographs, videos of drinking alcohol, and references to women as "whores."
But the clueless award goes to Atlanta-area high school football coach Donald Shockley, who was forced to resign last January for storing on his school computer photos of his assistant principal dressed in lingerie and posing in sexually suggestive ways. The photos were discovered by a student whom Shockley had asked to work on his computer and who then posted the photos on the Internet and sent them to other students at the school.
Last October, reporters for The Columbus Dispatch conducted an investigation of MySpace profiles posted by Ohio teachers. The newspaper quoted one 25-year-old teacher bragging that she's "an aggressive freak in bed," "sexy," and "an outstanding kisser." Another teacher wrote on her page that she had recently "gotten drunk," "taken drugs," and "gone skinny-dipping."
In the wake of these reports, the Ohio Education Association urged all OEA members to remove any personal profiles they may have posted on MySpace or Facebook. The Association also warned members that such profiles "can be used as evidence in disciplinary proceedings," which could "affect not only a teacher's current job but his/her teaching license" as well.
But what about free speech? Don't school employees have the right, on their own time, to blog about their private lives without fear of losing their jobs? Probably not.
While the courts have not yet decided any of these teacher blogging cases, it's the general rule that school employees can be disciplined for off-duty conduct if the school district can show that the conduct had an adverse impact on the school or the teacher's ability to teach. And it wouldn't be too difficult to make that showing if the teacher's blog includes sexually explicit or other inappropriate content and is widely viewed by students.
As to a possible free speech claim, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2004 that it was not a violation of the First Amendment for the City of San Diego to fire a police officer for posting a sexually explicit video of himself on the Internet. The unanimous Court said that such speech was "detrimental to the mission and functions of the employer."
There's an old lawyer's saw that goes something like this: Never put in writing anything that you wouldn't want read in open court or by your mother.
Maybe it's time for an updated adage: Never put in electronic form anything that you wouldn't want viewed by a million people, including your colleagues, students, and supervisors—and your mother.

I don't think that pearl of wisdom tells me much anymore in itself as some parents have gone to the attorneys for their child's 'freedom of expression', meaning they can flaunt the rules & be disruptive & swear at anyone but they cannot be expected to conform in any way. Parents have been noted shouting more obscenities at the administrators & staff than their children do, and model the opprotunity to abuse people in places of authority.
Maybe we need a 'Battle Royale' scenario. For those of you unfamiliar with this idea try the link I posted & see if it's a good idea to try to cull the rudness out of some asshole children. AND if you think the movie is rough or you're opposed, then you haven't read the 15-part graphic novel collection OR been in a classroom.
It's fucking sad that you need a license to buy a car, a gun or to hold some jobs, but you need no experience or training to have children. And the immature assholes having the children & fucking up the schools are the same ones who's kids go out having more children or procreating because THEY CAN like a fucking dog in heat! God help us all!

By RUSS BYNUM, Associated Press Writer1 hour, 14 minutes ago
A group of third-graders plotted to attack their teacher, bringing a broken steak knife, handcuffs, duct tape and other items for the job and assigning children tasks including covering the windows and cleaning up afterward, police said Tuesday.
The plot by as many as nine boys and girls at Center Elementary School in south Georgia was a serious threat, Waycross Police Chief Tony Tanner said.
"We did not hear anybody say they intended to kill her, but could they have accidentally killed her? Absolutely," Tanner said. "We feel like if they weren’t interrupted, there would have been an attempt. Would they have been successful? We don’t know."
The children, ages 8 and 9, were apparently mad at the teacher because she had scolded one of them for standing on a chair, Tanner said. A prosecutor said they are too young to be charged with a crime under Georgia law.
School officials alerted police Friday after a pupil tipped off a teacher that a girl had brought a weapon to school, Tanner said.
Police seized a broken steak knife, handcuffs, duct tape, electrical and transparent tape, ribbons and a crystal paperweight from the students, who apparently intended to use them against the teacher, Tanner said.
Nine children have been given discipline up to and including long-term suspension, said Theresa Martin, spokeswoman for the Ware County school system. She would not be more specific but said none of the children had been back to school since the case came to light.
The purported target is a veteran educator who teaches third-grade students with learning disabilities including attention deficit disorder, delayed development and hyperactivity, friends and parents said.
The scheme involved a division of roles, Tanner said. One child’s job was to cover windows so no one could see outside, he said. Another was supposed to clean up after the attack.
"We’re not sure at this point in the investigation how many of the students actually knew the intent was to hurt the teacher," Tanner said.
The parents of the students have cooperated with investigators, who aren’t allowed to question the children without their parents’ or guardians’ consent, he said. Authorities have withheld the children’s names.
Police expected to forward the results of their investigation to prosecutors, Tanner said.
Children in Georgia can’t be charged with a crime unless they are at least 13, District Attorney Rick Currie said.
Martin told The Florida Times-Union of Jacksonville, Fla., that administrators would follow school system policy and state law in disciplining the students.
"From what I understand, they were considered pretty good kids," Martin said. "But we have to take this seriously, whether they were serious or not about carrying this through, and that’s what we did."
Four mothers of other third-grade students at Center Elementary called for the immediate expulsion of the suspected plotters.
Stacy Carter and Deana Hiott both cited school system policy stating that any student who brings "anything reasonably considered to be a weapon" is to be expelled for at least the remainder of the school year.
"We don’t want our children around them," Carter told the Times-Union. "The one with the knife could have stabbed my child or someone else’s child at lunch or out on the playground."
"This is an isolated incident, an aberration. ... We have good kids," Center Principal Angie Coleman told the newspaper.

If you have been TAGGED, you must copy the questions and post and answer them in your BLOG! The questions start off basic then get more personal and then go back to basic. BE HONEST WITH YOUR ANSWERS! You then have to TAG 10 other people.
Here is the TWIST ... YOU CAN BE TAGGED BACK! So be careful who you TAG because if they TAG you back they must ask you up to 3 personal questions that you MUST ANSWER BACK, but they must ask them in your private message/mailbox. This will be a test to see who your "real friends" are and who is just a picture on your page.
