Hating Meetings

Can you love & hate something at the same time?

I'm being fucking called down for some goddamned meeting with my principal and some other teachers meaning I've offended some kid or a parent that doesn't know their kid is an asshole.

Some days you love something so much it breaks your heart. Sometimes you break your own heart on the misery of this bureaucratic bullshit.

Fucking fuck it!

Fuck that!

I'm still trying to survive. If you've read this blog you know what I've done, what I've felt and what keeps me afloat now.

I'm not slitting my wrist if my meeting goes south and they fucking fire me.

Fuck this! I could be paranoid and just anxious from previous experiences ... but that's me.

Sorry. Worry until there's nothing left to worry about.

Then I'll let the anger go.

Can't sleep due to the fear.

Still Don't Care But She's Pretty

She exhaled

So I tried a old friends' email hoping to hear from her, but it was sent back by "mailer-daemon", so she finally left the old life and maybe her old ways.

Hopefully she's happy.

Blessings my past.

Better keep writing.

Take care everyone.

Number 606

Life seems meaningless some days. Now that I'm making money I'm going into hoarding, thus my little hovel is overrun and looking like an episode of "Hoarders".

But life's been worse so I'm gonna smile & keep trying.

Take care those still reading.

I'm still trying.

Bye for now.

2018 & turning Older

I am old.

But I am living well.

I turned 50 a little while back and I am thrilled with life as it is ... so far.

I've outlived many people I know.

It's sad to say it but it's true.

So I gotta keep trying don't I?

Keep pushing.

Thanks for listening all these years.

I'm still trying the new form-in-the-road.

Where it'll take me is another story.

Take care.

Blessings,

Goodbye

Today I said goodbye to my beloved pet, putting her to sleep so she doesn't suffer more weight loss, vomiting, an unquenchable thirst, or the sudden or creeping loss of her bodily functions. I treated her diabetes daily for 2 years but the doctor said it was the best treatment possible for that time. She lost her sight to cataracts, her body never regained weight and I had her on incontinence pills.

So today I said goodbye. The veterinary took good care of her. She was given a sedative, fell asleep and it was over after another injection.

When she was healthier we took lots of long walks. She smiled with every step, every drive, never whined, never complained.  Thus this song by SuperTramp seemed fitting; now she's walking into Heaven.

Bye Blondie. Love you.

Take The Long Way Home - Supertramp

So you think you're a Romeo
Playing a part in a picture-show
Take the long way home
Take the long way home
'Cause you're the joke of the neighborhood
Why should you care if you're feeling good
Take the long way home
Take the long way home
But there are times that you feel you're part of the scenery
All the greenery is comin' down, boy
And then your wife seems to think you're part of the furniture
Oh, it's peculiar, she used to be so nice
When lonely days turn to lonely nights
You take a trip to the city lights
And take the long way home
Take the long way home
You never see what you want to see
Forever playing to the gallery
You take the long way home
Take the long way home
And when you're up on the stage, it's so unbelievable,
Oh unforgettable, how they adore you,
But then your wife seems to think you're losing your sanity,
Oh, calamity, is there no way out, oh yeah
Ooh, take it, take it out
Take it, take it out
Oh yeah
Does it feel that your life's become a catastrophe?
Oh, it has to be for you to grow, boy
When you look through the years and see what you could have been
Oh, what you might have been,
If you'd had more time
So, when the day comes to settle down,
Who's to blame if you're not around?
You took the long way home
You took the long way home
Took the long way home
You took the long way home
You took the long way home, so long
You took the long way home
You took the long way home, uh yeah
You took the long way home
Long way home
Long way home
Long way home
Long way home
Long way home
Long way home
